London, 25th July 2024 – Leading customer experience agency Initials CX today announces the launch of Grand Central Rail’s new “100 Ways to Summer” campaign, aimed at enticing northern leisure travellers to explore the myriad experiences London has to offer.

With the help of the agency, Grand Central Rail aims to boost brand awareness and drive leisure trips by showcasing a variety of unique and exciting activities available in London. By highlighting the convenience of direct services from key northern locations such as York and Bradford, Grand Central Rail is positioned perfectly for leisure travellers seeking a hassle-free journey to the capital.

In collaboration with getmemedia.com, the campaign kicked off online, followed by local print ads in early July and culminating with TV and cinema ads beginning the week of July 22nd. Running through until mid-September, this initiative is strategically timed to maximise impact during the peak summer travel season.

The “100 Ways to Summer” campaign marks the first piece of work delivered by Initials CX since being appointed as the company’s lead creative agency following a competitive pitch process earlier this year.

Speaking on the campaign, Luke Purcell, Marketing Manager, Arriva UK Trains said: “We are thrilled to see the launch of our latest summer marketing campaign, designed to inspire both first-time and returning visitors to explore the capital. Initials have delivered an excellent catalyst to showcase the vast variety of things to do in London, from iconic attractions to hidden gems. We can't wait to see where our customers’ adventures take them!”

Leah Burton-Smith, Group Account Director at Initials CX added: “We are delighted to be working with Grand Central Rail. Now that the 100 Ways to Summer campaign has left the station, we’re looking forward to it not only building the Grand Central Rail brand and driving ticket sales but also enhancing the overall travel experience for leisure passengers up and down the country. Full steam ahead for a summer of fantastic journeys to the capital!”
