In November 2008, IPC Inspire conducted the first ever reader survey of Rugby World Magazine. The survey was promoted online and in magazine throughout November and December 2008. The incentive included tickets for England Vs France at Twickenham, 25 runner up prizes of Puma's new rugby boots. The areas the survey covered were demographics, the readers' role in rugby, expenditure, internet usage and readers' views on the world of rugby and Rugby World magazine. A total sample size of 1231 was achieved and all results were analysed.
