Sky media are offering broadcast sponsorship of new US cop-drama NCIS Los Angeles on Sky 1.

Tell us about the Opportunity / What is it?

NCIS: Los Angeles is the first spin off from the popular NCIS and follows Special Agent G Callen and his partner Sam Hanna. The series is a drama about the high stakes world of the Office of Special Projects, a division of NCIS that is charged with apprehending dangerous and elusive criminals that pose a threat to the nation's security. By assuming false identities and utilizing the most advanced technology, Callen and Sam along with their team of highly trained agents to go deep undercover, putting their lives on the line in the field to bring down their targets.

What is the Marketing Objective?

Build awareness and give brand attitude with this hard-hitting US cop drama.

How does it work?

The first runs play back to back for the first three weeks on Sky1 and Sky1 HD, Anytime TV and Sky Player. There are 22 x 60' episodes. The sponsor will receive 15 seconds opening and closing credits, 6 x 5 seconds break bumpers per show and logo accreditation on all programme specific trailers that are 20 seconds or greater in length.

Who's used it in the past?

This is a new proposition and we look forward to working with a sponsor on this new venture.

Features / Benefits

NCIS: Los Angeles was created by Shane Brennan, who also serves as executive producer on the original NCIS. Brennan previously served as a writer and producer on the popular CSI: Miami. Following its season premiere in the US last week, NCIS: Los Angeles scored a ratings triumph, picking up 18.3 million viewers - the largest opening night audience for a scripted series premier since 2004.
