A leading supermarket approached helloU to help them to reach the student population before any of their competitors. Further to this they only wanted to target students within their store's areas.

helloU matched the list of relevant stores to specific locations and place a promotional deal (£3 off £15 spend and £5 off £20 spend) within the parcels of those universities.
This campaign was hugely successful for the supermarket - A minimum of £323,000 revenue was generated giving an ROI of £12 for every £1 spent. A follow-up survey showed that before the activity only 4% of students surveyed had tried the supermarket before. The voucher saw an 11% redemption rate with up to 90% in certain cities.
Targeted and relevant student deals have huge cut through with the student audience. 93% of the stores in this campaign were in areas where there was at least 1 competitor supermarket closer to the university, and 83% of the stores were further than at least 2 competing supermarkets.
