A great opportunity to be the broadcast sponsor of top-level English county cricket on Sky Sports.

Tell us about the Opportunity / What is it?

Sky Sports are proud to announce live coverage of the brand new ECB 40 League for the 2010 season. Following a 12 month review, the ECB decided to replace the 50-over Friends Provident Trophy and the NatWest Pro40, with this new 40-over tournament to be played mainly on Sundays. The format will consist of three groups of seven teams, with the sides playing each other at home and away. Group winners and the best second placed team will qualify for the semi-finals, with the final taking place at Lord's on Saturday 18th September.

What is the Marketing Objective?

A great chance to reach ABC1 males to increase brand awareness, as the many breaks provide a high frequency of short exposures

How does it work?

Sky Sports coverage of the ECB 40 League will air across the Sky Sports Network between 10am and 10pm, depending on fixtures. the sponsor will receive 2 x 15 second opening / closing credits, 18 x 5 second full screen break bumpers, 18 x 5 second logo break bumpers plus 2 x 15 second opening / closing credits, 10 x 5 seconds full screen break bumpers during highlights / repeats. The sponsor will also be featured visually, and where possible, verbally, on all promotional trailers specific to the ECB 40 League.

Who's used it in the past?

This is a brand new opportunity for this year however would be suitable for brands such as O2, EDF Energy or Tetley beer.

Features / Benefits

The sponsor will be mentioned verbally and seen visibly on numerous occasions, and for different lengths of time. This creates heightened brand awareness due to the frequency of the mentions and will give you options for different targeting during the longer ads. Having day games, day/night games, highlight shows and repeats greatly increases your viewing audience.
