This is Bauer Radio's search for new talent - with a twist! Year after year, viewers are glued to their TV screens as thousands of hopefuls audition for their chance to become the next big thing. The music industry is a hard business to get into, and we want to give one lucky band the chance to turn their dream into a reality.

What is the Marketing Objective?

The primary aim of 'The Big Audition' is to raise as much money as possible for Bauer Radio's Cash for Kids with a campaign that fundraises through a fun, exciting and unique platform creates hype and talkability and offers local talent the opportunity of a lifetime!

How does it work?

The competition is open to all bands and artists They have 3 weeks to register to participate Registration is on line via Bauer Radio radio web sites A registration fee of £20 is paid-this is a donation to CFK They up load a video or audio demo Judging panel will choose 10 finalists in each area. Listeners vote for their favourite Top 5 most voted for bands are selected for the final and perform at a local venue Winner performs at the local Radio Event Key 103 live, Metro Radio live etc and goes to National final- National Winner gets to perform to a record co exec

Who's used it in the past?

Local colleges and venues were sponsors in 2013. The first ever Big Audition uncovered some amazing talent whilst raising over £140,000 for Cash for Kids.
