In 2012 Chester Zoo bought you amazing animatronic Dinosaurs but in 2013 they'll be a BRAND NEW attraction... BUGS! The exhibition is brand new and includes 13 larger than life bugs, sound and visual effects, photo opportunities and out of hours experiences.
We're looking for sponsors for each of the Bugs and with two already sold you'll need to be quick.
We want to drive people to visit the zoo, experience our brand and help create memories.
In 2011 we generated an estimated £600,000 (as calculated by Durrants) worth of print and online media coverage in the UK alone for our Dinosaurs attraction and in excess of £60,000 of TV. 38,000 people viewed the TV advert on YouTube and an extra 232,000 views on video on demand. 772,000 website hits and social media fans doubled.
Visitors to Chester Zoo can visit the attraction at no extra charge. There is signage at key points throughout for visitors to learn more about what they are seeing. There are photo opportunities for them to engage further and a retail space on exit. This larger than life exhibit will definitely be one to remember.
Chester Zoo has a good history of working with brands to generate brand exposure on site, including Airbus, Jaguar Cars, Asda, Aga and Bank of America.
