Tell us about the Opportunity / What is it?

This is the chance for you to associate yourself with the first Soap Awards of the year, in All About Soap, the Soap magazine with the "hottest stories and the best pics!" Although this Awards event doesn't include an actual awards ceremony, the in-mag coverage is extensive and is taken very seriously by both the Soap Stars, and more importantly, the readers. This is because it gives the readers the chance to have their say on the events and goings on in Soapland over the last 12 months. The most quirky and fun of all the Soap Awards!

Build awareness for your brand and associate with the first soap awards of 2008!

How does it work?

We have a Voting Issue with nominations/short lists in end of January/beginning of February, and then two issues after that, we have the Winners Issue (which will be in March 2008). Sponsorship straplines/boxes/logo incorporation would all be available. However, we are definitely open to working in partnership with the right brand to tailor it to your campaign more and generally work more in partnership, rather than us just sell you a sponsorship package. This is what our readers want, and what we want to deliver for them.

We will endeavour to prove whether the activity works or not through reader research. You will be talking to a group of young Mums on their level, about the thing in life they care enough about to buy a magazine every other week - SOAPS!! It is the first Awards ceremony of the year and a huge editorial event for the magazine. It gets away from the traditional categories such as "Best Actress" and gets under the skin of soaps through the fun and novel awards on offer to the Soaps and their Stars - and all voted for by the readers, therefore guaranteeing reader interest!
