Tell us about the Opportunity / What is it?

Arrangements are being made to produce Scotland's biggest ever debate programme filmed in front of a live audience of over 2000 people. Representatives from 6 major parties have been invited to the stage to stand in front of the studio audience and answer questions on the constitutional future of Scotland and the referendum of Scottish Independence. But this opportunity is more than just a debate. It is to attract worldwide attention from all aspects of the media. We will be transmitting on Channel 212 (Sky), Online and to mobile media devices.

What is the Marketing Objective?

The opportunity not only allows brand exposure across the UK but also allows product exposure worldwide. This event will be viewed by foreign press, those interested in the political situation in the UK, Ex-pats and of course a multitude of other interested partners.

How does it work?

The sponsorship package includes: 9 x 20 seconds sponsorship credit during each commercial break ( 3 minutes total) with credits at start and finish of every commercial break and sponsorship acknowledgement in show credits. Sponsorship logo on banners in the debate hall and sponsorship logo on Crew Shirts in the studio. Sponsorship logo on website; all literature; via internet and mobile streaming devices and exclusive online video advertising.

Who's used it in the past?

Similar programmes have existed in the past but never in this format. This is wholly unique both in Scale and in organisation. The BBC have had similar debate but not at this level and never as controlled as this.

Features / Benefits

Brand exposure across two television channels, the web and to mobile / handheld devices. The sponsor will be prominently displayed on staff t-shirts, on banners and posters at the event. They will receive exposure on the site, on sponsor messages on transmission and 60 seconds per hour video advertising on TV, internet video and portable devices. The brand will also receive positive exposure for allowing the UK population to ask and have answered the hard questions. The sponsor is giving a voice to the Scottish people and a platform for the world to hear the answers.
