What was the Challenge / Background of the Campaign?

BP has supported arts and culture in the UK for over 30 years. As an Official Partner of the London 2012 Games and a Premier Partner of the Cultural Olympiad and London 2012 Festival, it is fitting for BP to build upon our strong relationship with the Royal Opera House to bring this new exhibition to London for the Games.

To announce BP's sponsorship of an exhibition from The Olympic Museum.

What was the Solution?

Hill and Knowlton helped announce the fact that BP is sponsoring an exhibition from The Olympic Museum which will be showcased at the Royal Opera House in 2012. The role of Hill and Knowlton was event management and media relations. Ogilvy PR also supported.

What were the Results?

Extensive media coverage publicising the story, all of which was positive; almost 100 people attended the event, including important stakeholders for BP.
