Mediators will bring warring neighbours together in an attempt to resolve escalated and on-going feuds. This new series will follow their journey as the Mediators are sent in to try and defuse the situation. Mediators - many of whom are volunteers rather than paid professionals - go into the homes of people who can often be on the verge of violence; otherwise law-abiding homeowners driven to fury by inconsiderate neighbours. In some cases the build-up of frustration and mutual resentment has been breeding for months, and has escalated out of control.
The marketing objective is to build up brand awareness and promote this new series to its target audience.
To be broadcast across the Sky1 and Sky1 HD channels, from June 2011 onwards, the series shall consist of 5 x 60 minute episodes with additional repeats. Sponsorship Accreditation shall include: Opening credits: 1 x 15 seconds, Break bumpers: 5 x 6 seconds per show and Closing credits: 1 x 15 seconds. A sponsor shall also receive logo accreditation on all programme specific trailers that are 20 seconds or greater in length.
