Tell us about the Opportunity / What is it?

Powerboat GP is offering the opportunity to sponsor the return of Powerboat Racing to London's Docklands. The Race schedule covers the whole weekend including qualifying and multi heat races of various classes from the Junior GT15 class up to to the senior F2 class. Commanding past audiences of over 50,000, this year's event, having the full backing of the GLA and the benefit of Worldwide TV coverage, gives a great chance for a sponsor to become involved in an iconic sporting event.

What is the Marketing Objective?

The event, with its prestigious location and media interest, offers opportunities for raising brand awareness, spector sampling and/or interaction and the chance for a brand to be associated with a thrilling and ever growing sport at it's flagship event of the race season.

How does it work?

Due to extensive pre-, on-event and post-event publicity, the event sponsor's name will be attached to ALL activities, which will include local media,national/international TV coverage, support of drivers and venue blanketing of the corporate message. It is both a national- and regional opportunity, with international Television coverage.

Who's used it in the past?

Previous sponsors of the London Grand Prix include Champion Spark Plugs, Mitsubishi, Budweiser and Q8. Current sponsors of Powerboat GP in general include,Hotels, Global Shipping, Fitness Products, Financial Services and Business Services, Restaurant Chains and Radio.
