Disney, Grand Visual, Talon and Blackjack create a live Disney event in Bluewater shopping centre.
Disney has now entered the subscription-based streaming services market with the launch of DisneyLife, a Netflix-like service that lets families of up to 6 people stream Disney movies, TV shows and even music, audiobooks and e-books online, to their mobile devices, or to TVs via Apple's AirPlay or Google Chromecast.
To support the launch Blackjack teamed up with Disney, digital production specialist Grand Visual, and Out-of-Home media specialists Talon to create a live Disney event in Bluewater shopping centre.
Over the two live days in November Disney fans engaged with the new DisneyLife concept via an interactive digital screen, and were given the opportunity to see some of their favourite Disney characters. There were 4 themed events (Toy Story, Frozen, Jungle Book and Mickey Mouse Clubhouse), each event lasted approximately 5-10 minutes, and was repeated 4 or 5 times. Blackjack managed all staffing, production of bespoke Disney themed props (including mechanical vines!) and associated logistics.
