Brand Partnership opportunity with the biggest student tour in the UK reaching 40,000+ students.
The Club MTV Freshers Tour is the biggest student event activity on campus during this period in terms of attendance figures, number of events, social engagement and campus presence. Tour consists of:
25 x DJ and Dance music-led events in university cities across the UK, reaching 40,000+ students between September and October. A wide range of sampling and branded installation opportunities, with access to university campuses for student engagement. The
tour is supported with co-branded TV and Digital advertising campaign across Viacom UK channels (including MTV).
The Fresher's period is not only a student's first exposure to a new institution, it's potentially the start of whole new chapter; new friends, new experiences, a new outlook on life. This is a great time for brands to tap into that open-minded outlook and provide students with memories and experiences they won't forget. Established in the student calender for last 3 years, Club MTV is a great vehicle for brands to access this key demographic in a genuinely engaging way, allowing them to build brand awareness and drive product trial and sales.
Brand partnership will include a variety of sampling and installation opportunities throughout the 25 UK events. A 30 second co-branded Freshers Tour promo will run across MTV and Viacom channels from August - October 2015 with a reach of over 2 million 16-34's. A bespoke competition will run throughout the event in order to increase engagement and data capture. The brand partnership will be supported through digital and social media opportunities as well as a dedicated micro-site.
