How does it work?

LBC was the first commercial independent talk radio station. The station began broadcasting on 8 October 1973 and has remained the 'Voice of London' and beyond ever since. LBC broadcasts in London on FM and on DAB digital radio across the UK, so you will be able to tune in wherever you are in the UK. LBC is available on digital TV via Sky Digital channel 0112, Virgin Media channel 973, Freesat channel 734 and Freeview channel 732. Listeners can take LBC with them wherever they go and Global can offer advertising and sponsorship across all platforms.

LBC has an incredibly loyal and engaged audience who each listen for 10 hours every week. Surveys have shown that 90% of listeners regularly discuss the things they hear on LBC, and these numbers are backed up by the high interactivity stats that LBC enjoys. Currently, 60% of listeners are male and 40% female with 61% coming from an ABC1 background who are at a stage in their life where they are interested in more than just music.
