Popcorn is extending its partnership with the Academy Music Group by providing O2 venues with a new digital screen system

Tell us about the Opportunity / What is it?

Popcorn is offering a new digital screen system at 15 Academy Music venues nationwide, in the form of freestanding digital screens with mobile optimizing delivery platforms. These screens will deliver dynamic content and internal communication solutions across a network of multiple digital media displays within the O2 venues (including Brixton Academy and Shepherds Bush Empire)

What is the Marketing Objective?

These screens will create new opportunities for O2 venues to engage with a young, affluent audience complimenting the existing Popcorn 6-sheet poster panels

How does it work?

The venues will be provided with the freestanding screens including the mobile optimised delivery platform - this is a technology agnostic platform that enables advertisers to extend traditional campaigns onto smartphones using any combination of QR (Quick Response code), NFC (Near Field Communications), Bluetooth and SMS. This mechanism enables a consumer to respond immediately to advertising, acting on impulse
