Blackjack supplied a costume character for distribution of the Hotel Chocolat 'tiddly BAFTA's' to BA passengers on BAFTA day.

What was the Challenge / Background of the Campaign?

Hotel Chocolat, the official chocolate partner to the BAFTA's, approached Blackjack promotions to supply a costume character for distribution of the 'tiddly BAFTA's' to all British Airways passengers on the day of the 2013 BAFTA's.

What was the Campaign Objective?

The objective of the campaign was to raise awareness of the partnership British airways has with Hotel Chocolat.

What was the Solution?

Dressed up Blackjack staff members were positioned in the BA lounge along with an air hostess from British Airways greeting all passengers into the Club South Lounge in Terminal 5.

What were the Results?

Whilst no specific results were attained as it was a brand awareness, PR stunt activity, all those in the BA lounge commented and received a chocolate box and leaflet. Daily footfall is around 2,000 people, or 71,000 per month

What were the Key Learnings of this Campaign?

Whilst this covered a wide ranging audience, this type of activity proved to be a huge success with all demographics. Not only was it very eye catching but it sparked conversation and opportunities to take photos and send them over various social media channels.
