Tell us about the Opportunity / What is it?

The World Touring Car Championship (WTCC) is the 3rd FIA approved world motorsports event, along with F1 and the World Rally Championships. As owner of the WTCC, Eurosport is pleased to offer advertisers an opportunity to become title sponsor of this years UK race, to be held at Brands Hatch in September. This is a cross media sponsorship package, encompassing extensive on air, online and on-ground activities.

What is the Marketing Objective?

This opportunity will allow a potential sponsor to align themselves with the 3rd largest motorsports series in the world, achieving global media coverage. The WTCC will be the first 'Green' motorsports series, with measures taken to remove the carbon footprint of the championships. The sponsor of the event will also gain valuable access to the thousands of visitors to the event in the UK, along with numerous promotional opportunities in and around the prestigious Brands Hatch circuit.

How does it work?

An event partner brand will be present on virtually all communication relating to the event, including: Creation of a new event logo incorporating sponsor brand, billboard visibility on the track during the race, brand presence on the podium during the presentations. Plus online visibility on the WTCC website with your brand present on all promotional activities, including the official event program, posters and fliers. Sponsors can also benefit from site allocation in the paddock and general areas for hospitality or product exhibition and VIP club hospitality passes.

Who's used it in the past?

Presenting partners of other WTCC events include HSBC and Hewlett Packard. Manufacturers involved in the event include BMW, Alfa Romeo and Seat.
