Since 2002 The Mayor of London has held a parade and St Patrick's Day festival in Trafalgar Square. The London St. Patrick's Day Parade has over 5,000 participants comprising of marching bands (from Britain, Ireland and Europe). There is colourful pageantry, street theatre, county associations, the Metropolitan Police & London Fire brigade, sports clubs and over 30 floats. CBS Outdoor are offering the opportunity to partner the Mayor of London in celebrating the fantastic contribution of the Irish community, to London's on-going, economic success.

What is the Marketing Objective?

Market your brand to over 100,000 strong audience of Londoners and visitors to London. Association with a high profile positive celebration of Irish culture and an opportunity to take your brands St Patrick's Day message across London on bus, LU and through participation in the parade.

How does it work?

The sponsorship package includes naming rights, "Mayor of London St Patrick's day Celebration in partnership with Brand" and joint branding on all elements of the St Patrick's Day Parade marketing campaign. Sponsor's joint branding will appear on 300 double royal poster on London Underground promoting the event from February 29th until March 14th, plus joint branding on 120,000 DL 6 page leaflets distributed in London Underground zone 1 stations and joint branded ads in the Irish Post, Camden New Journal and Islington Gazette.

This is an excellent opportunity to market your brand to over 100,000 Londoner's and visitors to London. As well as joint branding opportunities within the package the sponsor will have the opportunity to have an experiential event on the North Terrace of Trafalgar Square (subject to GLA & Westminster Council approval) and corporate hospitality benefits with 30 tickets to the Event VIP tent adjacent to main stage in Trafalgar Square and an allocation of 10 tickets to launch the St Patrick's Day Festival at the Irish Embassy.
