Today, OXEGEN is widely regarded as one of the world's top music festivals so it's easy to forget that the festival only started in 2004. Since then, Punchestown (Naas, Co.Kildare) has hosted some of the world's greatest acts and witnessed many unforgettable moments. It's a weekend dedicated to great entertainment, where festival-goers can experience everything from the high octane thrills of the festival funfairs to the more relaxed pleasures of the campsite cinema screen. Headline acts in 2009 were Kings Of Leon, The Verve, Rage Against The Machine, REM.
