Tell us about the Opportunity / What is it?

The Fashion Monitor Journalism Awards will reflect the crucial role journalism has in informing, educating and entertaining readers and its impact on commercial and brand success. Accolades in journalism will be presented across the media field, including consumer, trade, national, online, bloggers and freelancers featuring both short and long lead publishing. The Fashion Monitor Journalism Awards will be the first initiative of its kind to look across the full spectrum of fashion and beauty journalism.

What is the Marketing Objective?

Our aim is to reward and commend excellence in fashion and beauty journalism. The media are crucial in brand and retail success and these awards provide a shop window to showcase our great media talent. The awards aim to become the network event of the season bringing together brands, PRs and the media to celebrate the talent across the industry. The awards concept provides the first time that fashion and beauty journalists will be commended side by side across all levels.

How does it work?

Sponsoring the awards provides the opportunity to align your brand with the best in fashion and beauty journalism and play a part in nurturing the media talent that is important for your brand's success. There are 3 levels of sponsorship; category, hospitality and headline. Fashion Monitor will be used as the marketing and promotional vehicle behind the awards, with regular marketing mail shots to over 32,000 industry professionals and social media activity to a reach of 70,000 Twitter followers. Sponsors will also be included in coverage from our key industry partners.
