Urbanathlon is a unique concept in the UK race market. A 10k foot race through East Manchester, which includes 12 urban obstacles with the emphasis very much on fun. Obstacles include concrete road barriers, parked cars, a full climbing wall and a local river. Sponsors will benefit from event branding and advertising, media coverage, networking opportunities and activation programmes. 650+ runners took part in 2008 and 4 TV & 6 radio stations covered the story.
