Tell us about the Opportunity / What is it?

The influence of women in music has often been an addendum in the history of popular music. She-Bop-A-Lula aims to address this by showcasing some of the most inspirational and creative female performers over the last six decades. Approx. 50 images will be exhibited from Lady Day (Billie Holiday) to Lady Gaga, all photographed by female photographers. The combination of music and photography is powerful, loved by both the media and the general public.

What is the Marketing Objective?

To be associated with a fun and provocative Photo exhibition that will garner big media exposure by the nature of its subject matter, together with supporting a major charity. Breakthrough Breast Cancer Charity is the UKs leading breastcancer charity, a disease that effects 1 in 8 women.

How does it work?

Most people have an interest in music and have an opinion on their likes and dislikes. The debate of 'most influential women' is wide open for discussion which will be harnessed through the media using all available tools including social networks. Also the visual appeal of photography - people like to look at pictures and the media welcome the opportunity to print 'free' pictures.
