Friday night T20 action will cover 87 (70%) of the 126 group-stage matches, will take place on Fridays over the 10-week course of the competition.
The new NatWest T20 Blast competition starts on Friday May 16, with 14 of the 18 counties in action
Middlesex host the first ever domestic T20 'double-header' the following day on Saturday May 17
Sky Sports are due to broadcast 35 Group games live, plus quarter finals and Finals Day
Natwest T20 Blast is being supported pre-launch and during the season by a full digital marketing campaign across ECB channels, Twitter and Facebook (including a new app to invite friends to a game)
2013 saw over 650,000 fans attend the domestic T20 competition (75% up on 2012)
With more matches, a new 'appointment to view' schedule and increased marketing support we expect this figure to rise dramatically, with a target of 1mn attendees per season.
We expect a broad demographic of fans, both male & female, families and groups of friends, predominantly under 45.
